I was worried about purchasing this because of the other comments but decided to do it anyway. I'm glad I did. Now keep in mind as you read that I am a college student with miss-matched furniture from different thrift stores. I was searching for slip covers that were within my budget but they were all so expensive! I have a white couch and a red velvet chair that I wanted desperately covered. I was worried from the other review that they said that the covers were see-through, but that is not the experience that I have. The slipcovers cover my white couch and red velvet furniture pieces very well and I cannot see any evidence of the colors through them. The fabric is a little thin, but it is not transparent and it feels soft to the touch to me (not sure about the other review). Remember to keep in mind that I am a college student so if you have really high expectations about having state-of-the art furniture covers, than you should probably invest the money in that. But if you are like me and really have some ugly furniture that you want covered than this is the way to go. I don't have a love seat so I didn't get to try that one out but I'm sure it works well also. Another pro about this order was the shipping time. Amazon told me that it might be shipped out about three or four days after purchase but it arrived at my door within two days. So the only thing I would say is to make sure you measure your furniture and you should be good to go. I would buy again!
